It feels incredibly surreal to say that it has been over 5 years since the last time I played Charleston, in February of 2020, for the release of The Mourner’s Manual. It was such an awesome night: amazing audience, great friends, new album out, hopes were high……and then COVID (womp womp)
Matt Megrue and The Key Problems cover "Dakota" by The Stereophonics
"Dakota" is one of my all-time favorite songs by The Stereophonics. I can't imagine a more perfect song. So, during the Quarantine of 2020, I called up my buddies: Brendangerous (bass), Seanarchist (keys) and Trentin Quarantino (guitar) to see if they would be down to track a version of this amazing Stereophonics song. They, obviously, obliged.
